| Monday, September 10 – Friday, October 26, 2007 | Nominations accepted for the 2008 Cohort of The University of Texas Principalship Program. Nominations may be submitted online at www.utprincipalship.org, by email to info@utprincipalship.org |
| Week of September 17 through November 2, 2007 | Notification packets sent to nominated candidates. Nominated candidates must register for one of two Orientation Sessions at www.utprincipalship.org. It is strongly recommended that nominated candidates also register to take the GRE at this time unless they have prior GRE scores within the past five years. |

Required attendance at one of two sessions Information/Orientation Sessions Sanchez Bldg Room 426 Free Parking in the State lot located across from the Bob Bullock Museum at the corner of MLK and Congress/Speedway is available on Saturday. |

Candidate Application Portfolios Due to Sanchez Building 310 This includes 3 letters of reference and reference forms, verification of requests for transcripts, GRE scores from within the last 5 years or verification of GRE registration Submit a check for $30.00 payable to UT Austin with the completed portfolio. |
| Friday, February 1, 2008 | Candidate Application to the Graduate School (GIAC) and Department Due In order to be considered for a Site Visit, all GRE scores not previously submitted and offical transcripts must be received by GIAC by February 1, 2008. |
| Monday, February 4 - February 29, 2008 | Notification to Candidates selected as finalist and site visits scheduled |
| Thursday, February 14, 2008 | FAFSA Deadline to receive financial aid during the summer. |
| Week of March 17, 2008 | Final Selection Complete. Official notification sent to candidates from Graduate Advisor. |
| Friday, March 28,2008 | FAFSA Deadline to receive financial aid during the fall |
| Wednesday, April 2, 2008 | Acceptance Deadline |

UT Transition Camp for 2008 Cohort Principalship Program Members. All students accepted into the program are expected to attend this weekend session. Friday, May 2, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Located at: The Leadership Development Center of Austin Independent School District, 3808 Keats Drive, Austin, Texas 78704. |
